1-year post scans

This past Friday I had my 1-year post CT scan and an ultrasound of my thyroid. The thyroid is severely damaged, mishapen and non-functioning - but there are no nodules or masses. No sign of thyroid cancer. Chill for another 6 months. I won't have the radiology report back from the CT until Wednesday, but upon my untrained glance - I can't see anything bad at the primary site. I'll know for sure on Wed at the meeting with the Oncologist, but I'm thinking positive that I'm 12-months NED.

CT Scan
Here's wishing and hoping for an 'all clear' for you on Wednesday. It sounds like there are at least three of us waiting on results this week. There is me today, you on Wednesday and Glenda on Thursday. And there are others getting scanned very soon. For my Christmas present, I wish for good results for all of us.
