TIME FOR THE EVRY 90 DAY PANIC ATTACK

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Chest CT and Neck CT w/ contrast today at 3pm followed by Onco, Rad and Thoracic Surgeon Appts. next Monday.

Of course with my wife's pull, I will know the final results of the scans before I even get home tonight. Great if all clean, sucks if there is something and I have to wait one week for the Appt. to hear the bad news.

On a positve note, all scans have been clean to date as well as all physical exams by my ENT whom I see in January.

Keeping my fingers crossed and trying like hell to stay busy today until I leave.

    I just got my routine poke, prod, stick your tongue out and say EEEEE Friday...so far so good...post treatment Jun2009.

    Hey, Mike. Best of luck on your scans today and here's hoping and praying that all is well. It looks like the list keeps growing for people getting scans and results here in early December. I hope all of us get a great Christmas present of good scans and good health.

    It does get easier as time goes by, Mike. It gets to where your palms aren't sweaty until you are actually in the exam room :)

    LOL, I feel good now, but February is CT scan for me...I always feel anxiety the days before, during and after....

    I guess that is my New Normal, LOL...

    Is it just me or is it that these scans are coming faster each year, they are getting like Christmas. Before you can turn around it is here again.

    Every Six Months
    I'm on a six month cycle...CT in February, PET in August...or around those times.

    thats the word!! i was looking for. i have esophageal scans and blood workup on monday and i cant work or sleep thinking about that. to be honest, ambien and 1/2 glass of wine works for a few hours of rest.
