Update on follow up

Hey,Ladies. I spent a week at MD Anderson for follow up visits for neurofibromatosis and BC. OMG I was in MRI for 1 hour 45 minutes for a view of the spine. The tech was great but my goodness. MRI of the Brain was 40 minutes the day before the spinal view.(The neurologist said I have a beautiful brain) I have to repeat MRI of spine in 6 months I am so taking a happy pill next time. CT of chest revealed fibrosis from rad therapy NO cancer...yes. Thank you all for wishing me luck.

    Hi,

    There are no better words than to hear that there is no neoplasia. One can deal so much better with benign conditions.

    That was a lot of time to spend down a tube and so very happy for your results.

    Great news!
    I am very happy for your results, and I pray it continues to stay positive always. I myself dislike MRI's, YUK! they are too long and annoying (and you can't move!!!). Just glad it's over and you can now be at peace with your good news.

    Love good news! And I am so very happy for you... I had a brain MRI this past summer...does your facility have an "open" MRI MACHINE? My cancer center does not, so when I need an MRI I go to an imaging center here in town that does have one...it is less scary...although I hated the mask part that is then bolted to the table!!!!!!
