Just wanted to express my deepest and sincerest gratitute too all people on this site who have been there for me since July this year, since my dad was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer in June 1 of this year.It has been a blessing to have you all in my life to talk to and learn from. I hope you all have a great day.I find that really everyday is thanksgiving anymore.
Yes, I agree jimwins, there are still good and caring people in the world

Something to be thankful for
I am a little late on this one but I thought I would say a little something anyway as the holiday season is just getting started.
This is my first holiday season dealing with all of this (I'm the caregiver and my boyfriend is the one with cancer) and it hasn't been easy thinking about how different things are going to be. Thanksgiving made me sit back and realize that while this situation sucks I still have a lot to be thankful for. My boyfriend is here with me and we have each other. I am thankful that right now things are ok and he is feeling well. We can find reasons to laugh and have hope that this is temporary.
I realize that others may not be in the same boat but the way I am dealing with all of this is trying to find joy anywhere I can. I am finding joy here with all of you and in the special moments I get to share with my boyfriend.0
