I THINK I HAVE CANCER.. NOBODY KNOWS

Hi tatin
It is time that you talk to your Mother and let her know what is going on. Also schedule an appointment with your family doctor and let him check you over. Sometimes the symptoms you are having may not cancer but could be a lot of other things, I have blood in my stool and have had it for years, but none of my PET scans show cancer in my bowels.
Take care my friend and please go to your doctor and stop worrying as it will not help you at all.

Hi there,
I understand it can be way easier to try and ignore these things, and theres a chance that your troubles may all just go away, but there's also a chance that it gets much worse. It probably isnt' cancer, but if it is, the longer you leave it the worse it becomes. The chances of having two different types of cancer are very slim. rather than live with the stress of 'maybe i have cancer', imagine how releaved you will feel when you get the results and hear that you are cancer free! You want to protect your mum by not telling her, or perhaps you feel embarassed? I dont know your family but i would guess that your mum would hit the roof is she knew you weren't seeking treatment. Go to the dr....please!!!!!0 -

What I'm referring to as possibility of two cancers first the blood in my stool and second is the immense back pain I have that wakes me up during wee hours in the morning. My cousin died this year of lung cancer and I'm scared of telling my mother because I'm scared of hurting her. Regarding my cousin, he died six months after he was diagnosed. I've done some research regarding lung cancer and it seems I have been experiencing more than three symptoms of having that cancer. I just don't want to experience the same fate as my cousin. I don't want to spend my end days in the hospital. I don't mean to offend anyone by what I said, but I'm just so confused now and probobly just thought of living life as happily as I could if ever I'm gonna get to that point.0 -

Like what I've replied to Hondo. I'm just scared and confused. My cousin died earlier this year of lung cancer and I'm afraid I'm having symptoms of the same cancer. I've been having very painful back pains recently that wakes me up very early hours in the morning and couldn't sleep again, even if I tried to. Not just that, I've done some research of the symptoms and it seems I've experienced more than 3 symptoms of the said cancer. I just don't want to end up like my cousin, who spent his last days in the hospital. I just figured, if I die atleast I was able to do what I want to do and just be happy as I can. I don't mean to offend anyone of what I said about dying in the hospital. I'm just scared and confused. I just love my mom so much, I don't want to drag her in my painful situation.0 -

I understand and believe me we are all scared and confused when we believe there is a problem with our body. But as ABC was saying you must now look at doing something about it, just hiding and worrying will not make it better. Call and make an appointment with a Doctor and get checked, believe me a lot of symptoms of Cancer does not mean you have Cancer. The thing you don’t want to do it to wait in case it is cancer. In the mean time I will be praying for you my friend and waiting to hear back on how your doctor visit went.
Wishing you the best

presented problems with sleeping and waking in pain at 3-4am. my buddy in salt lake city wouldnt say no to the docs until they went in with an upper endoscopy and found a sore(ulcer) on his stomach wall. NON-CANCEROUS. Some pills and it cleaned up nice. Wish you the best and keep at it till you find out why. dont cover it up with meds. FIND OUT WHY.
wish you the best!!

Very well said, we all like to cover up our problems with meds until it is too late to do anything about it. Get help the first time you feel that there may be problems; if it is a cancer the sooner you treat it the better chance of beating it.
