Sonogram results

Well, I mananged to squeeze in yesterday at 3 for a sonogram and it was so much like the experience I initially had when I was first given the bad news. They clicked away at the lump and underarm, then I had to wait (praying the entire time), then I got called back again to take mammogram scans then sent back to wait some more. Then they came out and told me to get dressed that the radiologist wanted to talk to me. That fear is gripping. She came in and told me that from everything she could see, that big lump was scar tissue that has solidified with time and that it's common with extensive surgery such as reconstruction. She called it something but I can't remember. I couldn't stop the tears from flowing, praising God and hugging this poor radiologist. She will still send the results over to the doctor and I'll meet with her to see if I need to do anything else or have additional scans.

I just cried at reading your responses and they touched me deeply! All of you are such a source of strength. Keeping all in prayer and hope~

    Thanks for the update.
    It sounds like it's time to stop crying and start doing the happy dance! I hope your doctor agrees with the radiologist.

    Thank God you're clear! I am so happy for you. I bet you cried. I get very emotional with good news too. I'm just glad your tears are from happiness. May you continue to celebrate for many, many years to come. Congrats!

    That is such good news!
    Sylvia, I think we all can relate to that waiting period, and when they ask you for "just one more set of films...." it can be taxing on us for sure!! I am so glad prayers were answered and all is well. It's Thanksgiving week~ what a great testimony to share!
