Hello ChrisPTown ... I think you are starting your treatment today?? Sending well wishes ... try to be strong right here, right now ... a warm and supportive hug from my corner of the world to you!! You're on your way now!!

I hope you have your dog with you at your sister's house ... I found such support from my pets ... and I slept with a stuffed animal every night throughout my treatment ... even with my husband right there beside me! I felt vulnerable, funny how that helped me ... even as a strong, all-grown-up adult person (forever a child!).

Thinking of you today ...

    I also have you on my mind today and hope that everything will go just fine today. Once you get the first day out of the way, I hope you'll be a bit more relaxed about it all. You are going to get through this and be stronger on the other side! Hugs and best wishes to you!

    So nice you remembered me and took the time to wish me well! Its 1215pm and i am leaving soon to have my first radiation at 130pm and get hooked up to the chemo at 2pm. Thank you so much! Yep, Johnny is with me so glad about that. XO

    Wishing you the BEST. The worst stress should be behind you(no pun intended) now since you are now starting you treatment process. Remember this is a job and there will be brighter days ahead.

    I had a stuffed animal too. A yellow tiger kitty (called him 'kitty' - how original :) ). I'd clutch him to me at night and during naps. He was very comforting and still has a place of honor on the upstairs couch.

    I think of you quite often ... because you are me one year ago! I hurt for you as I know your fear, but also am so excited for you because you're beginning treatment and that time in my process empowered me so much! Although we don't "know" each other ... we are bonded in this common experience forever. I told your story to my husband and I cried as It brought back so many emotions.

    I'm cheering you on everyday ... please keep us updated when you can. Hang in there Chris PTown!

    Take one day at a time
    Oh how I remember my first rad treatment. I was scared and even though tell told me it would not hurt I just knew I would feel something. I didn't. Please remember to take all the medication the doctors give you. Take that pill for upset stomach every morning even if you think you feel OK. Drink water as much as possible. Friday will be here before you know it and the first week will be over. Praying for you and keep talking to us. We have been there. Cindy

    Hi Chris!
    I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I was thinking of you today. You are already in day 3, so a couple more days and you can kiss that chemo pump goodbye! I hope you are not feeling any side effects yet and all is going well.
