Check for thrush
It is very common to get thrush flare-ups and that can make your throat hurt as if you had strep. Otherwise, try to keep it lubricated - water, club soda, sweet tea (the tea has an astringent effect that can help reduce swelling, and the honey/sugar syrup used to sweeten it can soothe your throat).
A humidifier can help also - just about any of the ultrasonic (cool mist) ones will do. There's a small portable one that uses bottled water - CVS sells them - that's handy if you travel.0 -

I get a lot of blood vessels in my nose that crack and bleed and also some sore throat at times. So I use Cool mist humidified it works well especially during the winter with the heater on in side of the house.

That is a problem we all live with, I use what ever I can during the day to keep my throat lubricated. Lots of water, Stoppers4, Ice Tea, anything that you can sip on, in time it will get a little better as you move further away from your treatment.
Wishing you the best

Much the same
Robert,
I do much the same as you. I use the Bioteen mouth spray during the day and sip water. When my throat gets to the point that nothing seems to work, I pop in a " Halls" Mentho-Lyptus and that seems to help out. They make it in Sugar-Free also, but for some reason, I can't stand the taste, or lack of taste. I do try to use the Sugar-Free, but usually end up with the regular. Cherry flavor works best for me, the other flavors seem to burn my mouth more. It is all trial and error.
Have you tried the Baking soda and Salt routine lately? I tend to forget to fall back on the biggest part of my recovery trends for soothing my mouth and throat. Just throwing that out there. I would gargle and then spit most of it out, then let a little bit of the solution go down my throat to ease the discomfort.
My Best to You and Everyone Here0
