Michael left a hole in my heart, and went to be with Jesus tonight

Tonight at 7:42 PM, Michael lost a fierce and courageous battle with cancer. He was at home surrounded by his Family and Friends. I am amazed at how many lives Michael touched in his 43 years and one day on earth. I can't begin to imagine what he can accomplish in heaven while he is watching over all the people who loved him. Although he will be missed here on earth, if anyone deserved to leave this world for the heavenly one a little early it was him. He was my best friend for 17 years, the Father of 4 wonderful children. His fight and determination to stay with us was never even about him, it was always about those he would be leaving behind. My children and I will take things one day at a time right now and try to figure out how we were so blessed to have him the time we did. His wish was to be home with his kids for his birthday and he was surounded by all those who loved him on November 10, and Novemeber 11th, Veteran's Day he passed away, fitting for a Combat Army Veteran

    Please accept my sincerest sympathies over losing Michael. I am so sorry for what you and your kids are now having to go through. I'm so glad that you are at peace with where Michael is now- earning his heavenly reward.

    So Sorry for your loss. Going through this battle myself, even if NED for now, I can understand, how he made it all about everyone else. You know how they say some kids are forced to grow up, well we cancer survivors are forced to look at those that we may leave behind and face death in the face. My sincerest respect and admiration for Michael, you and the kids!

    I'm so very sorry that Michael has lost his battle. I know that you and your children will always remember the love he gave to you and I'm sure he is watching over all of you now.

    dear jessica and kids,

    so sorry for your loss. michael sounds like he loved and was loved alot which is more than many have in our brief time on the planet. remembrance day will always be extra special for your family.

    noone knowone knows for sure about what happens after we take our last breathe, i have faith michael's spirit will be watching over you and Jessica and Danielle and Megan and Christopher and Dustin.

    I am so very sorry for you and your family. You are so right that Michael will be able to do so much in heaven. You have your own intercessor now in heaven and your children will be able to talk with him and receive his and our heavenly Father's assistance. I think you will be amazed at the strength you will receive from your children--they have strengths that we don't understand. May God be with you and all who are mourning the loss of Michael.

    I literally felt my heart breaking when I saw your post with it's title. Strange how the heart, a vital organ is also reflective of emotions, I felt my sink with your news. I know Michael is not gone, he will always be in your heart. I know you will see him again one day, until then I will be praying for your peace and strength. I am so sorry for your families loss.
