Thank you Anita and Kado, I truly appreciate your prayers as I am a firm believer in the power of prayers. I pray every day for all of us who have cancer and say an extra prayers for those I have become close to. Please know that you are both in my prayers and as you said Anita..."Not just saying it, YOU are!".
I'm hanging in there, today is the last day of antibiotics for the C-diff I got because of all the other antibiotics they had me on and I'm feeling better. I am scheduled for chemo this Thursday as long as my blood work is still good. I will be having a CT scan on Dec. 1st to see if the chemo is doing anything, if not then the doctor said they will try another drug. I'm praying this one works and the tumors are shrinking.
Hope you both are well today!! Love and hugs to both of you.

Thanks NayPaul. How is your wife doing? Is her targeted therapy working?
I think my doctor is going to have me start Zometa soon. I am a little worried about it because of the jaw thing,(although my dental health is good)and the other side effects. Seems like I just start to feel better, then I start something new that makes me feel lousy again. Is your wife doing okay on it?0 -

My wife was originally on xgeva... it did work, though se had muscle aches and pains for 48 hours post treatment. Another onc placed her on xgeva... works better, is only a shot vs iv, and less muscle aches. But a lot more expensive and some insurance companies do not like to cover it.
Her targeted therapy(crzotinib) appears to be working wonders. Especially since we got her gastoparesis under control. She as oreenerg than she has in months... is eating well again... I feel like I have my wife back. She takes no pain pills, is cutting out other meds and is getting mental and phsically stronger every day.0 -
Awesome news,my friend!
Keep on keeping on!
Take care,

Thanks Cheryl for the love and prayers...Dan hoping for the best of news for you on your upcoming scan, we're cheering for you *\O/* *\O/* *\O/* NayPaul I am so very happy that your wife is making a comeback. I am sure that fact that she is an athlete has been beneficial to her as her poor body has certainly taken a beating of late. Thanks for info on Zometa. I will go for an infusion on Thursday, and once a month every month.
I was sitting in the oncologists waiting room today when a gal came out with the BIGGEST smile ever and I heard her say to her husband "I don't have to come again for 3 months" I knew she was friends with NED again!
Glenna I hope your chemo is still on??0 -

I LOVE your new picture, you look gorgeous!!!! I won't know whether or not I will get the chemo tomorrow until I get to the oncologist's office and have my blood work done. The C-diff seems to have cleared up and I've been off the antibiotics for 3 days so hopefully everything will be okay and I can get the infusion. Pretty sad when you pray they can pump you full of poison...LOL.
NayPaul...so happy for you and your wife, enjoy the upcoming holidays, life is good!!
For everyone else...you are all in my prayers daily, we are in this fight together and together we help keep each other strong.
Love you all, I couldn't do this without you here at my side.
Stay well,

Good morning....Just to add something..I would recommend that you ask your doctor about adding a pro-biotic to your diet, such as Align. Also, if you like yogart, that would help to replace some of the normal flora to your intestines,as your bowels are still very sensative, and the chemo will effect the bowels...I hope you have a great day....
P.S. Anita your new picture is beautiful!
All have a great day.....Kado.0
