Thank You Eric
I had been very concerned since Chantel's last post. Chantel, I know that you are in the darkest place imaginable right now and there is nothing anyone can do to ease your pain. Just know that we are all holding you up that the grace of God will help you through this most difficult of times. Lee put up a good fight and for that you can be proud. In love and prayer, Sam0 -
Eric,
Thanks for letting us
Eric,
Thanks for letting us know. My prayers are with Chantal. They as well as you, are too young to battle such a horrid beast. I've seen so much heartbreak on this site in the last few months. It just lets us know, we need to keep fighting to make people aware of the prevention of EC.
I ran into an old friend today at the store. She had a coupon for Prilosec. She said her doctor told her to take it permantly because she has acid reflux bad. I asked her when the last time she had an endoscopy. She said never. I tried to give her some knowledge, but when someone is being treated by a doctor, they don't want to believe what we have to say. They don't realize that doctors are ignoring how rampant EC is becoming and ignoring us and our complaints until it's sometimes too late. Even slight symtoms like I had--I never had reflux, just heartburn, should not be ignored.
Excuse me Eric ,for going off, but my heart hurts so much for Lee, you and all the other of my friends on here. Even though I am NED now, I am still in there fighting.
My prayers are with Chantal that God will put His arms around her and give her comfort in the days ahead.
God bless and be with you, Sandra0 -
I am so sad to hear about Lee
There are no words to describe the sadness that fills my heart as I read that Lee has passed. Lee has shared his thoughts, hopes, and fears with all of us in a way that made me feel I had known him for many years. His last post will stay with me forever.
May God welcome Lee into his presence and love, and surround Chantal with strength and peace.
With Great Sadness,

Hate to see another fighter go down....
Lee fought a strong fight. So sad that he wasn't granted a victory against EC.
Chantal was among the very 1st to welcome me here. I will always be grateful to her and Lee for providing guidance and widsom in their posts. I learned how to be a better caregiver from her posts.
Prayers of peace and strength to the family and to Chantal.

Chantal,
My heart breaks for you. It is just so sad that your time with Lee was cut so short.
Prayers for you to find the strength to get you through this difficult time. Try to find comfort that Lee is in a better place free from the pain of this darn disease.
Hugs,

Eric
I know from following the blogs on this site that you and Lee had a close relationship. I just want you to know that I am feeling your pain. Lee seemed like a very nice person and he will be truly missed.
Please find some peace knowing that Lee is in a much better place now and he is no longer suffering.

I hope you are still felling well today.
I just wanted to say that you are in my prayers and that you will find a lot of help here if you make your message into a new thread,
I don't know that much yet as it is really new to me, but everyone here is so kind and helpful that you could get answers to most of your questions really quickly if you make a new conversation.
Keep well Brian
Hugs and prayers

I hate this site sometimes
I haven't been on this site for awhile and then I saw this post. Eric, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. My heart goes out to Chantal. I've been reading these posts for several months and I hate seeing news on hearing about our dear members who lost the fight to nasty EC. Chantal, I don't know you but I'm soooo sorry for your loss.0 -

Lee is free of pain and suffering though, too.
I agree, it is such a love/hate to log in here every day with our family and who will we lose next or what did we find out today? Ug.
