I live in Northern Ca and have a cousin who is uninsured and 34 with a history on her fathers side for Breast Cancer. She goes to a clinic and they refuse to do mammograms for her because of her age. Does anyone know of a place that will do Mammograms for people with no insurance?

    Albie Aware
Try Albie Aware, Inc in Sacramento. 916-927-1592. www.albieaware.org. If she has a valid reason for needing a mammogram, they will help.

    Good luck.

This is all I could find on it. I got this information at a Pow Wow and haven't had a change to find more information about it. My youngest daughter doesn't have insurance and needs to start her screening because of our family history.
It seems you have to contact the BCC for a list of clinics.

    I hope it helps.

    You might also call the
You might also call the hospitals, and, explain the situation to them. They might do it for free. I know they allocate funds for people in need.

    Good luck,
