I have gotten the flu shot
I have gotten the flu shot for as long as I can remember! I also had the pneumonia shot a few years ago so I will be due in another 5 or so!
The most recent flu shot had was on my first day of chemo~ I had Taxotere, the investigational chemo ( I am in a clinical trial),a Zometa infusion for bones, and then a flu shot! All on the same day! In the same arm! LOL
My daughter Siobhan got one, as did her girlfriend, so did Reggie, his youngest daughter, and our grandbaby's parents! My chemo RN said there was already a lot of upper respiratory "yukkiness" going around, and she wanted no one to get sick around me if they could help it! And being as the 3 girls are in college and the grandbaby's parents both work with the public in the Casino~ flu shots for EVERYBODY!
So far so good....LOL We all got our shots 2 1/2 weeks ago. -

My hubby and I both got our flu shots already. I haven't seen anything about any big outbreak of it yet, but, I know it is still early.
I've never gotten the pneumonia or shingles shot. -
