I am overjoyed and thrilled to post I am NED again! I went to the James yesterday with tears in my eyes as it was exactly one year ago that my treatments started.
My fave nurse was in the waiting room, which was crammed with people, and saw me across the room and came over and hugged and kissed me. She was amazed at how good I look.
I am living proof that we can come thru the belly of the beast and survive.
I also had my short story of my cancer journey in our local newspaper yesterday (was a banner day for me to be sure)! I have to find out today if our editor will "unlock" the column, which would allow me to post it here. We are a small paper and our publisher locks all stories so that only paid subscribers can read them....(no comment).
I want to continue to thank everyone on here so such great tips and support. I have been absent for awhile as I have gotten heavily involved in a couple of projects that take up most of my free time. But I read almost everyday what is going on with everyone. May we all continue to heal and feel better.
Much love and peace
