clear mammo, easy airline experience

On Wednesday I did 2 firsts since treatment...mammo of my right breast, and airline flight. The mammo was clear, yahoo!, and the security screening at the airport was no different than it ever has been. I did wonder if I had forgotten to remove the little metal nipple marker if it would have set off any alarms, lol. They told me my mammo results before I left the hospital so I knew not to worry.

Today I had 2 more firsts..airport body scanner, and letter in the mail that actually came Friday confirming my mammo results. Apparently my port and my crazy scarring, etc didn't show up as unusual to the DFW screeners, didn't have the dreaded patdown.

Anyway, was out of town a few days and am trying to get caught back up with one and all of my pink sisters.
