I am so sorry to hear of
I am so sorry to hear of your sister's passing. It is such an insidious disease. Remember her as the loving sister that you knew for so much longer than that small window in time when she was so ill.
You can take great comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain or discomfort

Sisters
On April 5, 2011 my sister was diagnosed with Stg 4 gastric cancer. She has gone through 6 rounds of chemo (zeloda) and did well for about 4 months after. Earlier this month she developed ascites and we found out today they were malignant. They are starting her on the zeloda to try to control the ascites. During this same time my eldest sister was also dx with the same but more advanced stages. We lost my oldest sister on May 21, 2011 just about 4 weeks after her dx. There was no time for treatment only to be there for every minute we had with her. I don't even ask why anymore, I only pray for time with our family and that she does not suffer. I found this website as I searched for possibilities. There are so many who are fighting this terrible disease.0
