Grow my hair back faster?
Butttt the good news is, I'm better now and back at school!
I have some hair growing back, but it's so short and I can't stand it! I'm using Mane n' tail shampoo and conditioner, but is there anything else I can use (without a RX or anything like that) that's not expensive that might make my hair grow faster? It's just that before I started treatment, my hair was 25 inches long and thats how long I like it...
Thanks!

Hey Happie!
Welcome back and I'm glad you are doing better.
I just wanted to respond to let you know people are listening.
I'm not aware of anything (cheap anyway) that you can do
to make your hair grow back faster.
From reading posts in the past, I think it can take many months
for it to grow back (more than 6) after treatment.
I just finished my chemo and I look like your picture except
I'm not as pretty and don't use the same shade lipstick .
Actually, I still look like "Casper" .
I'm sure others will respond.
I'm glad you're doing better and back in school.
Hugs and hang in there!

Mine is coming back pretty good....actually it's starting to curl of course we are talking about it being about 1/2 or so long. Normally it's very straight.
I LOVE my short hair though. I love being able to be ready to leave in minutes. I don't think I will ever have long hair again. Sorry, don't know how to get it to grow faster. The first time I lost my hair it took several months before I got my first haircut.
Glad to hear you are doing well and life is getting back to normal.
Take care,

Faster? Not sure, but stronger, yes. I have found a product
I am a 25 year survivor of NHL and had issues with my hair, out of the blue seemingly thinning. I would start to lose a bunch of hairs at once, more than normal. This went off and on for years. Finally I went to a naturopath and she told me about a natural line of products called Jason. They have a shampoo and conditioner (one of a few in their line for different things) but the one with the blue label is for strengthening the hair follicles and hence they have a better chance of staying put. Maybe it will help them take root faster too, not sure.
It really worked for me and I have not have many hairs falling out in cycles anymore. I was told by one dermatologist that hair can fall out in cycles of every 3 or 4 years apparently due to trauma - shock - either trauma to the body or spirit and that made sense to me with my cancer and treatments.
It's over the conter and not very pricey, about 8.00 Cdn. a bottle for each. It might be worth a shot. I always like to tell people though that if they are going to try anything new - even health products you should always pass it by your physician first. I don't imagin anything in it will harm you but your physician knows you best.
Hope it works for you as it did for me.
All the best,
