Had the AMS 800 implanted 10/19/2011. One night in hospital. Much less pain and discomfort than I imagined. No pain medicine except what they gave me in hspital. The worst part is the swelling of the "jewels" They are so big and purple they don't fit anywhere. Did not enjoy removing the tape this am. Don't know if I am lucky but there has not been very little pain or discomfort. Can't wait until 12/1/2011 to activate.
Thanks for the info I got from this board.

Good to hear of your success. Please keep us posted as you progress. I am considering going that route and I need assuance that it would be OK.
Things are going great. Swelling down a bit. No pain or discomfort. Feel like I could do anything, but taking it easy until my next Dr visit.
