My husband is in the final stages of bone cancer, he has decided he no longer wants any treatment. We are now with hospice who are wonderful. I still have a few questions about where we are at. He sleeps all the time now eats and drinks very little. But what I don't understand is he has no pain and is on no medication. I am thrilled there is no pain I am just confused because everything you hear and read says that bone cancer is very painful. The other thing I would like to know about are all the bruises. He is covered in the most awful looking bruises. They are the darkest purple almost black and everywhere you look they are there. Can anyone explain about the bruising? Does this mean we are very close to the end?
