A different subject for a change....financial guidence

I have a question regarding the financial burdens of having cancer....& all those doctor & hospital bills.
We have health insurance which helps but have any of you found any assistance in paying the balance left over? I'm getting tired of being hounded by these 'uncaring' businesses who only care about the money & not the people (or their hardship).
I know this may be personal to most but any assistance or ideas would be appriciated.

Aid
I see the colorectal board knows a lot about aid, u might want to start a thread there. They r at a gathering this weekend, so maybe u will get more responses later. My provider has a patient social worker and a patient advocate to work with, check with your insurance company. U could also research old financial posts on the colorectal boards. I hope u find relief. If u r being pressured look up debtors rights, they can only push u so far.
