Skin Care after radiation

Ice Pack BEFORE radiation
My husband found that if he placed an ice pack on the radiation target for about an hour just before radiation, he had fewer problems than on the days he forgot. He said the days he forgot he felt more sunburned (inside & out). The ice pack seemed to eliminate that.
Hope it helps your mom.

Skin Cream
Our doctor recommended Aquaphor. It's a Eucerin product and it works pretty well. She can't have it on during radiation but if you put it on right afterwards and repeatedly it can help. It sure helped my husband.
Good luck!
