Update-Good news

in Breast Cancer #1
Just got my biopsy results back-clear margins and negative sentinel node; I'm so happy for great results! Will see oncologist next week to determine follow up care. Want to thank everyone again for all the positive support I received here in my darkest hours, you all are amazing women!!

    Great news!
    That was the same for me over 2 1/2 years ago. They will probably suggest an OncoType DX Test to see if chemo is necessary. I only had radiation based on those test results. I am sure you and your family are relieved.

    I did, about three and a half years ago, and have just now exhaled. Your report sounds good, and now the treatment will begin. Always remember, "this too shall pass". We will all be behind you in the coming weeks/months/years to make sure you have plenty of support. Hugs, Judy

    So glad about your results! I saw my oncologist yesterday and even though I was negative on the lymph nodes she still says I will need chemo. Whatever it takes I will do to eradicate this disease. My chemo starts the 13th of Oct for 16 months (8 treatments). I go today for a Petscan and next week for a heart test. So many appts!!!! Be sure and let me know what you find out, I will keep you in my prayers, Debbie

    I'm having a genetics
    I'm having a genetics consult as this is my 3rd cancer. Unable to have any more radiation tx due to prior history of it. Meeting with oncologist next week & will know more....

    Re Catowner-Do you mind me asking the size of your tumor? stage? Mine was under 1 cm....

    size
    Mine was a 3, she did'nt say anything about what stage, just that it was an aggresive cancer.
