I start chemo on Thursday and am thinking about getting the flu shot before I start. Does anyone know of a reason why this is not a good idea? I intend to ask my doctor too.
Thanks

before chemo, they gave it to me while I was still in the hospital from surgery. My spleen was removed so I had 4 shots in one night.Check with your onc. to make sure. Everyone is different. Good luck with your chemo..val0
