For Chemosmoker and LeeinLondon
Anyway, I wanted both of you, Eric and Lee, to know how much I have enjoyed your banter back and forth. The two of you are such an inspiration and you have touched my life more than you could ever know. Both of your wives are sure lucky ladies to have you in their lives! Of course I'm sure you're lucky to have them as well.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you both. May you have the best possible days ahead of you.
Wishing you only the best,
Melinda

Ditto
Yes, I've enjoyed Lee and ERIC too. I'm also relatively new here but I've gained quite a bit of information and I've found some humor in some of the writings. As a caregiver, that's not always easy to do.

Thanks!
Thank you for your kind words, but the power of this group is in it's collective members. After reading untold stories about the wildly varying approaches that people have taken to this horrible disease, it has helped me greatly in making decisions with confidence, and I've certainly learned more from all of you than those nasty people in the white coats with yet another needle in their hand. May you continue to receive information, confidence and hope from all of us.
And by the way, I'm not only cuter, but I'm a much better dancer than Eric. So there.
Best from London,
Lee

Thank you, and it's only because of people like YOU...
Melinda, Rita, Barb, ALL of you!!!!...
I am so touched and moved by your posts!
I WAS crying, until I got to Lee's post!
BUT before my head gets ANY bigger, remember that what Lee said is absolutely true (for a change!), that WE have gained SO much from all of YOU, and that I am simply sharing and repeating what people like Sherri, William, Ann, Barb have so freely given to me first.
There are so many others here I would be naming names for the whole post! Also, a LOT of research on Google has been so freely given to me. I am here to share and to help. We are ALL dying. I just happen to know why and have a sad idea that I might know when, too. It's totally awful, but I am making lemonade here, not sour grapes. I am grateful to be able to type, read, and share. If I get 'lucky' enough to avoid mets to my brain and not go crazy, I hope to continue to share and post for months to come.
As for Lee being better looking OR a better dancer, watch it, buddy!! You'll go getting that J-Tube of yours that you love so much caught on Chantal's dress or something, and I will dance you off the floor in no time! Hump! I know all about Photoshop and I KNOW what you did to your picture. You AREN'T fooling us. I love you, too. But you know that.
Thank you again Melinda. You have touched me and I am truly moved by your words. You inspire me to continue to write and share. I have gained friends that I don't even need to meet to feel like I have known them my whole life, and feel closer to you all than I do people I have known since Kindergarten!
God bless each and every one of you.
PS-Let us ALL be thinking of Michael (Hopper52) tonight, and every day, as he needs us now more than ever. Ditto this for all those recovering from recent surgery, or dealing with a new diagnosis or the horror of a recurrence. This is an awful beast. We NEED each other and to stick together. I am forever grateful there is NO infighting here for sure!
LOVE is the answer to this disease. It's like the burping in the scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

PS-I have no blog or website to promote. LOL0 -

Hi Eric
Thank you for making me laugh, I needed that today, but as for you and Lee, my hubby will dance the pants off you, and as for who's good looking once again, my hubby hands down.
