in Anal Cancer #1
Has anyone used the supplement Boitin to help with hair regrowth? My hair is growing in, but some is still falling out. I finished treatment in July. ~Carol

    No I have not used this product. My hair started coming back in full force after around 5 months.

    Hi Carol--yes, I used a Biotin shampoo made by Jason, which I bought at a GNC store. It was recommended by a friend who went through chemo a few years ago. It's hard to say if it helped with the regrowth of my hair or not, but I liked the product. It seemed to make my hair stronger and thicker--what hair I had! You might give it a try. If you don't have a GNC store nearby, I'm sure it can be purchased online.

    My hair also continued to fall out. It ended up I was vit b12 deficient. Ck with doctor and have him run some tests. Hair stopped falling out within a week of taking b12.

    Clear anascopy for me yesterday 9 months post!

    I'm so happy to hear your great news! Thanks for the info about the B12--I think I'm going to check into that, as my hair seems to be getting thinner and I'm 3 years out of treatment.
