LOL! I got one of those "certificates" for both the completion of Chemo & Radiation. I thought they were joking at first but they do give them out in some places.
Now with this behind you, you can rest and recuperate!
Hugs,
Sylvia
Congrats Laura! Another job well done, girl. Relax & celebrate.

CONGRATS! It's a wonderful feeling isn't it....what will you do with this extra time now? I finished 9 days ago....
Are you staying on Xeloda? I start my upped dosage of it on Sunday....3 in the morning, 3 in the evening....1 week on and 1 week off for the next 8 weeks....then scans to see if the rads and Xeloda has made a difference....
Celebrate being a rads grad! I am thrilled for you! Keep me posted.

I am so happy for you!!!! Now take a few minutes to reflect on all that you have accomplished.. smiling, yet?

Congratulations
I received my diploma in June. Although I didn't have the grand march and music like you did. Sounds like it was fun. Where I went they were the most wonderful caring people. I almost felt bad that I wouldn't be seeing them any more but that feeling left very quickly. Good luck with the healing area.0 -

Don't forget to celebrate this mielstone. And to post the picture! The staff at treatment centers is so great and so supportive. I have a guardian angel from the rad center and a special pink bracelet from the chemo center. I wear them proudly. Enjoy the first day with no rads appointment.0 -

Oh yay Laura....
I love graduation parties. My diploma is snuggled into my BC journal. Some day when I need to reflect back on how tough I am, or I need to find that extra strength that book and diploma will come in handy.
That cream you are using will make the healing process go real fast. Congratulations dear friend...

What a great feeling isn't it? I just finished 8/25/11 my doc let me do 2 radiation treatments in same day so I could be done on my 50th bday. Now just need the hair to keep growing. Are you having any pain? I have alot of joint pain but guess it's from the chemo. Once again congrats and may your life be healthy!!!!0 -

Laura, I'm so happy to hear
Laura, I'm so happy to hear that you are done! Continue to take care of yourself, your skin will still show the effects of the rads for a while. And in my case, it took a few months to get my energy back. I tried to walk everyday and gradually found myself able to do more.
Happy hugs,
