You not only learn the importance of excercise but
the importance of diet as well.
A dietitian spoke and gave recommendation on diet and physical activity.

Dearest Linda..thank you so much for mentioning this programme. i had no idea that it existed. I am a member and regular participant at our local Y but i have never heard of this programme. they run a very well attended heart attack recovery programme. i have always thought....wouldn't it be wonderful if there was something for cancer patients. i will look into this.....thanks....

thanks Linda....I know that we do not....we live in Canada in a smallish city with the biggest y around. I plan to mention this to the director although i know chances are slim. We are busy building a brand new Y and raising millions of dollars....but maybe someday....thanks again
