So sorry
Hi Lani,
So sorry to hear about your grandmother. I don't think we are ever truly
ready for these kinds of things. I've read some of your other posts and
responses and you have been a wonderful caretaker and granddaughter!
I've lost some people close to me in the past and it was never easy.
What I can say is that over time the gaping wounds healed and eventually
became scars I am proud to carry.
When the time is right (for you), do something very nice for yourself
in her memory - you deserve it.
Big hugs,
Jim0 -
Sending (hugs)
Sending you love and prayers. May the Lord give you comfort in knowing that your Grandma is walking on the streets of gold and is pain free. May he wrap you in his arms and give you the comfort only he knows how to give.
So sorry that cancer has taken another person.
((HUGS))

in heaven
Lani, I know you're hurting, but your grandmother is free from pain, free from everything in heaven. Don't be surprised if she somehow visits you to let you know she's filled with joy and peace.
Grief is a process, it will take a while, but you will come out the other side stronger and wiser. Good luck with this day.0 -
grandmom
Lani, I am sorry for your loss.
While nothing makes sense right now, please be gentle with yourself and understand that grieving is a process you are only just starting.
Let us hear from you.
