Hi Michelle
Sorry - I have no experience with the patch. Know what you mean, though, about being put off by some side effects described for many drugs. One of my docs always grins when he says "never read the side effects info". Then he'll tell me what he thinks, and what I should be on the lookout for. Good luck. -

Yes.
My hubby is using it now. He would recommend it! He is almost 3 weeks out of treatment and was spitting mucus constantly. Now, it did take him to the opposite end of the spectrum at the beginning, but it evened out after a few days. He's been using the 1.5 mg patch for a little over a week.
Give it a try!

thanks tammy glad to hear your husbands doing well. did he have raditaion also? my dad is having radiation to the neck and so he can only put the patch on his back. he did try it and after 24 hours seemed worse. could this be or just conincidence? he has not put another one on but the mucas is really getting to him...
