Since my surgery friday my vision is so blurry i cant hardly make anything out and defantly cant read nothing.
So i put on my glasses...which i only have glasses cuz being on the computer to long i would get tension headaches (eye strains) anyway when i put them on it did help...its still blurry but i can make it out if i focus.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I know sometimes you have blurred or double vision right after surgery...but i have never had it last this long.
Help please!

Blurred vision
I have had what you describe every single time I have been put under. I am unable to read or see close-up for about 2 days, and my distance vision is messed up for about 2 weeks. When I went in to see my plastic surgeon I mentioned this to him, and he said that when you are under during surgery it causes a fluid shift in your body and that it can effect the lens of your eye. He told me that if it didn't improve in 2-3 weeks I should see my eye doctor. It was about 2 weeks and things finally went back to normal. I also have to use a scop patch behind my ear when I am put under to help with severe nausea and that does effect my vision too.0 -
trouble with vision
Hi Jo Jo,
Did your Dr. give you anti nausa medication?
My surgen gives me prescrption strenght dramimine and then the travel sickness patch behind the ear so I don't get sick after my surgery. The side effect is it dialates my eyes.
I can't focus for about 6 days afterwards.(Of course he doesn't tell me BEFORE that this will happen!)
I have had one surgery after my bi-laterial and the same thing happened. I'm going back in on Thursday for more surgery and already know it's going to happen again.
Hope it passes soon! Maybe catch up on some videos?
