I also had the cough. It got worse after I had finished but cleared up in week or two. I thinkit was gone when I had my 2 wk followup appt with rad onc. Worst time was trying to sleep but honey lemon throat lozenge helped. I mentioned to rad onc on f/u that it would have been helpful to have a heads up of expected side effects including a body diagram with exact areas to be targeted marked. I had not realized I was getting directed beams both front and from back. I would have used some aloe vera on areas to hopefully minimize burn. My back was worst... and then the cough. Hope it clears up quickly.0 -

We certainly share the same experience with the rads. I didn't get any burning though, but I only had 5 treatments. Like you said, I wish they would have discussed the side effects, so we wouldn't worry.0 -
