Compression sleeve
I have been attending exercise classes since last Nov. The classes I attend are geared to the older adult, i.e. slow and easy. We do stretches, use rubber bands and light weights. I started out without any weights or bands and then graduated to the lightest band and 2 lbs. weights. I also do chair yoga as well as water aerobics. I do not wear a compression sleeve. As the radiologist said - sofar-i, so good-i.

My lymphedema specialist
My lymphedema specialist said I should wear a compression sleeve during exercise and about 1 hour after. Do you have a lymphedema therapist you can call or email to ask for your specific case?
Have fun with your personal trainer, it sounds like you have found just the right thing.
Hugs,

The personal trainer runs a cancer boot camp, however I am too weak to participate, although the goal would be to get me there. I did leave a message for my PT who specializes in lymphedema, just wonder what you guys thought Thanks!!!0 -

I am glad that you are doing it. Personal trainer sounds great.
I was told yes, definitely wear. Also star light from 2 pounds and gradually increase. Still my therapist advice not more that 5 pounds, however I have read here not more than 10. I do follow my therapist recommendations.
Let us know if you like it.
