Home from surgery today

The hospital was being inspected today...I'm sure the inspectors were wondering about the pink bus parked out front. I'm betting the silly string, food and beverages, and crazy rubber band shooting women didn't help them pass.

Everything went as expected with the surgery. I am home now...groggy, sleepy, and my husband and kids are taking good care of me and letting me rest.

Thank you all for being there today. I will post again when I have pathologies back.

    I am glad that the surgery went as expected. Let us hope that you have a decent pathology report. Please let us know what happens. I am glad your family is there for you. It makes all the difference in the world. Did the inspectors comment on the kazoo "music" coming from the Pink Bus?

    Oh I am sure our shananigans showed what an uplifting positive attitude the hospital allows and helped to give them high marks! Glad you are home Linda, praying for good results.

    And hey, if we distracted them enough that they couldn't pass their inspection you should probably think about a different hospital. LOL

    Sweet one.....know you were in my thoughts and prayers today.....each morning when I am lying on the radiation table, I pray....for all of us in this battle....rest easy, with your hubby and precious children taking good care of you...allow them to "play Mom" and care and nurture you...you deserve it and they need to do this....

    Post when you're up to it...for as you know, we care....

    So glad the surgery is over and that you are home resting now and letting your hubby and kids wait on you. You just relax and whenever you feel like it, let us know how you are.

    Get up and start moving (slow as first)around as soon as you can.
    Best advice my doctor told me "don't lay around in bed I want you up
    and moving around) No house Cleaning........Your on Vacation from that for
    a while.

    yes the hospital must have enjoyed
    the sights and sounds of the wild Pink Bus!

    We'll be sending up lots of prayers for good results.

    Those inspectors were probably so overwhelmed they just passed the hospital in amazement of what they allowed in the parking lot. (LOL) Hope we didn't interfere too much.
