Wierd taste in mouth

This may sound a little gross so I hope this is not uncommon but here goes. I am almost two months post treatment and for the last 2-3 weeks I have been getting a weird taste in my mouth when I urinate. I cant even describe the taste. Has anybody experienced this? I would hate to think something is going awry in my recovery.

    I am week 5 Radiation
    Yes i get the same thing No 1 and No 2 . just another weird side effect almost like a metallic taste. Not having much experience eating metal cannot say whether it is steel,copper, silver,or aluminium. hehe

    Have you got a hunk of platinum laying around? I think those old Elvis pictures have a little platinum in them. I'm guessing it has something to do with the platinum based family of chemotherapy drugs. Or maybe it is Elvis re-incarnated, you know his final resting place was the golden throne. Precious metals abound!

    You haven't been eating asparagus have you, LOL....

    My wife and I love asparagus, but hadn't eaten any for awhile during treatment....

    Anyways, we grilled some on the George Foreman for dinner along with some Salmon....

    Anyways later that evening I went in and urinated...whew...had that smell....took me awhile to realize that I didn't have a kidney infection of something going on, LOL....
