my up and down CEA- down this time :)
So... since then, I've hit the supplements hard again and have cut waaay back on the sugar and red meat & have been eating overall healthier. I do imagine that had a major influence on the dropped CEA, since nothing in my chemo regimen has changed at all.

Good news
Keep up the good fight.
We all love the red meat and desserts.
However, if that is the sacrifice you have to make to see a 25% drop, then it good that you were so disciplined.
( I had my first Sausage McMuffin in weeks this AM, I was so BAD! )
Hugs to you

Congratulation!
Hi Lisa,
I am glad your CEA went down so much, it's amazing! By the way, you are still on Gemzar? what other regimen are you using? My immune system has been very low too even with my heavy dose of supplement, just wonder what are you taking to maintain your health. For my diet, I don't take red meat at all, not even chicken, only small amount of fish, my replacement for protein are beans & grains.
God Bless.

Dear Lisa, you did a great job!I am so happy for you.
This is really good news. That is a huge drop...YAY! I am sure getting back on track with the diet helped. I can't wait to get my house finished so I can move back in and resume my diet and nutrition. I know without a doubt the benefit it has on my body. Keeping you in my prayers! Take care my friend.
