Chemo Angels

Hi All,
I wanted to let each of you know about this wonderful program called Chemo Angels. Anyone who is currently going through treatment can sign up to be "adopted" by a Chemo Angel. Your angel will then send you gifts, notes, letters of encouragement through your treatment process to support and encourage you through your treatment.
I signed up to be adopted through Chemo Angels after my first chemotherapy back in 2003. My sister had heard about the program through a friend at work and signed me up. I was "adopted" by a sweet angel by the name of Georgina. She was one of the most thoughtful people and I was so happy to have been introduced to her through the site. Every chemo week she would send me a little gift or card and it really was something to look forward to during a difficult time in my life. Some of you may already be aware of this site, but for those of you are not aware...it is completely free and the angels are people who volunteer. If you are in treatment you should definitely look into the site. I am so glad I signed up and had the opportunity to have an angel like Georgina send me a little encouragement to help me through. I am planning to become an angel for someone else.
