Fiscuola
Hello I am new to the boards:
Did you say that you had surgery to close up a fiscuola? My boyfriend had anal cancer surgery in February and then he developed a fiscuola in July. They are saying that they can't repair it. He had chemo the day he found the fiscuola and the chemo went very well. He tolerated it very well. I would like information on how a fiscuola (I may be spelling this incorrectly) is repaired. Any advice you can give me or references are greatly appreciated.

It depends on the location, size, and other variables. Mine was in the perineal area and Dr. said was a good chance of success. I found a lot of info by just Google search. Fistula repair is where I would start. Get informed then ask your Dr. questions. This is my second attempt at repair. Good luck. I hope this was of some help to you. -
