Hi Casey,
I usually post on Uterine board as most UPSC women do but always monitor Ovarian board since that is the way UPSC is treated. Prior to my official diagnosis when my med onc thought I was having a breast cancer recurrence, tissue from 'appendectomy' (how cancer was found) tested 2+ for HER2-neu on stain and was considered in the 'equivocal' range but I would probably be eligible for clinical trials for Herceptin (this was noted in Path Rep). This was nearly 4 years ago and no one ever offered me that treatment. It is a question I will be posing at next gyn-onc appt. I was Stage 4B at staging surgery and have had recurrences - currently in treatment again.
What Stage were you?
