when you drive? I haven't driven in quite a while and I am kind of nervous now as I still have some neoupathy and sometimes I almost trip down or up a few steps. I feel like such a klutz. I am going to a wedding soon and I want to wear a nice strappy shoe with a heel but I don't know...but I think I shall..the worst I can do is break my neck..val

    I still have some
    I still have some considerable neuropathy in my feet. More so in my left foot but I do have some spells where my right foot gets quite bad while I'm driving and if I'm not in a situation where I can put the cruise on for a bit and move my foot a little, I have to pull over and move it around until I get enough feeling in it. Fun, fun!! I had a temporary parking permit because I had anticipated my feet would get back to normal but my doctor just told me that it's probably as good as it's going to get so I'm planning on getting a permanent parking permit. Mostly for the winter because of how icy it gets here. If I fell I would probably have to lay there until Spring. :-)

    I hope you get to wear some nice shoes and have no falls!

    Feeling klutzy
    I also have neoupathy which is worse right after infusions and gets some better as I get closer to my next round. I've fallen a few times and luckily haven't broken my neck...as yet. How bout a compromise? Wear those "cute" shoes for awhile at the wedding and bring along a pair of flats or sandals. Flats are so "in" and it could give you a great excuse to go shoe shopping!
