Follow up appointment tomorrow
I have my 2 month follow up appt tomorrow with my oncologist. Very important appt since I am truly praying that we can safely postpone treatment another 2 months so that I can fully enjoy my daughter's wedding in October.
I am getting very anxious about the appointment since the doc wanted to treat 2 months ago and then decided we could wait in 2 month increments, when she conferred with my second opinion doc(together they took my daughter's wedding into account) My blood work was off and I have some swollen lymph nodes. When I asked if we needed another bmb the answer was it's not necessary, we know it's still there.
I know that you all understand my "nerves" unlike anyone else. You've been there!
Thanks for listening!
Love and prayers to all,
Donna

Nervous...
Hi Donna,
We certainly do understand! I sure hope your NHL is stable enough to hold off on treatment until after your daughters wedding. Do you know what kind of treatment your doctors want to use? I'll kleep you in my prayers friend. Love...Sue

Hi,
Great, great news! My onc said blood work is good and she is fine with seeing me at the end of October!!! (After the wedding!!) There are some new swollen nodes but nothing that alarms her. We are safe to wait!
I am so relieved , whew!! Sue: She wants to treat with Benemustin and a new monoclonal antibody like Rituxan when the time comes.(I can't have Rituxan anymore-I'm allergic)
Thank God!! And thanks to all of you for good wishes and prayers! Love and prayers to all of you.
