blood clot in lung

in Lung Cancer #1
has anyone ever develpoed a blood clot in the lung. My dad has mesothelioma. He develpoed a blood clot in his lung. They have him on an injection of blood thinners 2x's a day. If there is anyone out there that has developed a blood clot just wondering what to expect from here on in.

    happened to my wife two
    happened to my wife two months ago. They treat with blood thiners (coumadin warfarin) and then monitor the blood regularly for several weeks and maybe months -- it can take time before they are fully sure the clot is dissolved. Vic
