Cindy,
I'm so sorry -- it's indescribably difficult for the people left behind after someone commits suicide. You and your friend's family are in my prayers.
One of my colleagues is a social worker who has a strong background in grief issues, and I'm certain she will have some resources -- unfortunately, I won't be back at work until Tuesday, but I'll ask her then.

What difficult times for you
What difficult times for you and the family.
The only resource that comes to my mind is most employers have an employee support program for counseling services. I know with mine you can get up to three free counseling sessions per family member and then referrals after that.
Hugs,
Linda
