Hi everyone...I'm from the colorectal board but wanted to check on here maybe for some info. My longtime friends son who is in his 20's was just diagnosed with osteo sarcoma in his knee. Dr's say replace knee cap and use a proceedure to "vacuum" out the joint as long as its not spread. Otherwise they will amputate from above the knee. The son, Justin is saying he doesn't want to fight this or go on and is very down and depressed about it. And I know how we all pretty much felt in the beginning of our diagnosis with the initial shock. I'm hoping someone here has some good information or resource or words I can pass along to them.

Thank you so very much, Gail
