I don't know if any of you watch CSI NY but Hill Harper "Dr. Sheldon Hawkes" is recovering from Thyroid cancer

It is always sad when anyone gets any cancer but hopefully we will get a little public boost out of this.

    Every little bit helps
Every little bit helps. I've seen two other shows - Dr. Oz and the Doctors do a segment on it as well. Actually it was one of those shows that got me thinking something was wrong with my thyroid.

Our cancer needs more publicity - the thought that is easy to treat and recover from really needs to change. Sometimes I'd like to take the posts from this site to my doctors and say - read them - now tell me again why its the "good" cancer!

We need more research into better treatment and follow ups and of course, a cure.

I second that motion. That's all I have to say about that.
