All: Doc just called and all 12 cores were negative! Even after an above average PCA3 score (36.5). All the many expressions of support from you fellows helped me suffer through the waiting period. For your information, the Doc said the transition zone (space) between the lobes of my prostate was quite large and probably accounted for the modestly elevated PSA. I will not stop posting on this site, as it sure helped me. Again, thanks for all the replys and information. Kind regards, SC

    is not that far out of the normal range, less than 35.

    a good idea for you to keep monitoring with PSA's for trend, and a biopsy from time to time. Try to find an expert on Active Surveillance, preferably from a major medical center.
