    thank you for the link...this is the first time, i was aware of this
    seems like there have been some little breakthroughs, recently
    i wonder if researchers are spending more time on getting an early
    diagnosis, or finding better ways to combat cancer, or both

    New vaccine
    I also saw on the news there will be a new vaccine coming out soon to help revent ovca,,then the next story was disturbing,,a worldwide shortage of life saving chemo drugs including doxil,taxol.carboplantin,etc, what the heck,,how can there be a shortage??..val

    From the news report I saw yesterday, there is a shortage due to supply and demand. However, this report said that pharamecutical companies weren't producing as much because they couldn't make enough profit on the older drugs. $$$$$ when lives are at stake!!
