Chef daddy Mike Son Up-date 8-23-11

Mike called a short while ago to up-date me on his Sons condition. They were able to do the bone marrow test and it showed that the leukemia is no long in there, but his Liver has stopped working. If you remember I posted about his heart running supper fast, well that was because of the liver not working, his heart just stopped pumping the blood needed for his liver to work like it should.

He kept having a lot of pain and they kept giving him more and more pain meds and his Liver was just storing it up until he went into a coma last night. The doctors could not figure out what the problems was so they kept running all kinds of test. Finally they gave him a drug for people who OD and it started bring him out of the coma but left him with a lot of liquids on the lungs and through his body.

He is resting now but the problem remains with the liver, the leukemia is out of his bones but he needed to finish the chemo to keep it from coming back.

Mike is still at the hospital with his Son so Please continue to pray for them.

    A prayer and positive thought for Mike and the family. This kid is going to make it. I think we all can draw strength from the battle he is fighting, and will eventually win.

    Here is to the Lukemia being gone from the bone.

    I talked to Mike last night and his Son is doing a lot better today. In fact I talk to his Son and he asked me to thanks every one of you for your prayers in his behalf. He is not out of the woods yet as his body must continue Chemo treatment. But for now everything is looking good and his Liver looks to be stable.
