in Head and Neck Cancer #1
I go into Mayo hospital on Monday 22nd to have my surgery...They are going to use the lazer and do a neck resection...Don't know about radiation yet until they do the pathology...They may leave a hole in my soft palate, it is a 50/50 proposition now but, the doctor said they can repair it later...So, I am nervous and very hopeful...THanks for all your support and sharing your stories they have helped me so much...

    I have learned far more about this disease through reading your stories and tribulations then I ever could have with medical journals...I am grateful to all of you for taking the time to post your stories, they help me a great deal...Now it is my time to proceed to the next phase of my journey and hopefully come out of it as strong and determined as you all have...I will post when I am able maybe a week or so...Not really sure...I will think of all of you and offer my love and compassion.
