    I started that medicine in early January. I stopped taking it 4-8-24. I cannot deal with the weight gain. I have pins and screws and plates in my right ankle. I'm so depressed at this point, I don't care if it comes back.

    I had taken Anastrozole for the 1st 6 months. I was experiencing some of the rare side effects. Onco said he did not have patients with those effects. Long story short, I was switched to Letrozole. While I still had symptoms ( don't worry, there's a pill for each one), those are controllable SE. The rare ones had no counter action. Every medication is not for everybody. Sorry that it is a trial and see if it works world, but staying with some type of treatment is most beneficial. I am almost 9 years out of treatment - that is a blessing that is worth the frustrations.
