Good news

He also had a medical student with him and asked if it was OK with me if he showed her how to do a breast exam. Of course I said yes. The more drs. we have to help us the better.

Good news? Great news!
Great news, Georgia. I agree with you, the more breast exams I get, the better I feel. Silly isn't it? I also find that when a medical student is present, the doc spends more time with me because he's also teaching. And if I ask questions, I think there's a more thorough explanation. I don't have a single doctor appointment in August or Sept and it feels really strange after this past year when it felt like I was always at one doctor or another. Isn't it great to have that behind us?

Wonderful news--good for you, Georgia!cahjah75 said:Georgia
glad to hear the good news. I do think when a dr has a student in the room, more attention is given and time spent. I had a student several times while getting rads. Very pleasant and always asked if it was okay. I think hands on is the best education.
